Want to learn about a crucial plan to boost our fire safety? Fire Marshall Michael Johnson, with help from Board member John Bauer, has developed a preliminary water cistern strategy to ensure we have the water we need to defend our homes from structure fires and wildfires. Did you know that having a reliable water source within 1,000 feet of every home is key? Protecting your neighbor's home can protect yours too!
This important community meeting will present the locations of existing and potential new cisterns. We'll also discuss funding strategies for these vital resources. This is your chance to see the plan firsthand and, most importantly, share your valuable feedback! The future insurability and cost of insuring your home could very well depend on having this water infrastructure in place.
